J'ai retrouvé la dernière version qui fonctionne et je l'ai testé sur windows 7 64bits avec succès.
Voici le lien de téléchargement :
J'y ai mis le lpeg qui fonctionne.
Décompressez les fichiers dans un répertoire que vous aurez créé n'importe où (c'est une version portable) et double-cliquez sur texworks.exe pour lancer l'éditeur.

Pour la version portable de texlive, prenez juste texworks.exe et le lpeg.dll comme décrit dans ma documentation.

Je vais tenter de faire fonctionner les dernières version de texworks en compilant moi-même lpeg et lua53.

C'est comme si lpeg n'était pas présent.
J'ai demandé plusieurs fois au développeur d'intégrer lpeg à texworks ; ça ne serait que quelques Ko à ajouter mais il n'a pas l'air chaud.
Je vais le relancer.
En attendant, essayez d'utiliser texworks disponible ici : avec le lpeg fourni dans lua 5.2 modules.
Ce n'est pas la dernière version mais ça devrait fonctionner.
De mon côté, je vais voir ce que je peux faire...

J'essaye de créer une clé USB pour les postes sous Windows.
J'ai suivi le tuto point par point.
L'installation et le test de TeXlive se sont passées sans problème.
Par contre, ça bloque au niveau de la configuration de TeXworks : lorsque je teste "a puis F9", TeXworks plante : "TeXworks editor & previewer a cessé de fonctionner".
J'ai pourtant suivi à la lettre le mode d'emploi; ma seule interrogation fut où placer le fichier lpeg.dll : dans texlive\tlpkg\texworks ou dans texlive\tlpkg\texworks\share ?
J'ai essayé les deux chemins mais ça ne change rien.
